butter- 2 tablespoon
pepper powder- 1 teaspoon
white sauce- 3 cups
water- 3 cups
salt- to taste
- cut the onions into rings.
- heat the butter in a vessel,add the chopped onions.
- cover and cook the onions on a slow fire till they turn a pale pink in color.
- add three cups of water,cook in a pressure cooker.
- remove from heat reduce the pressure.
- reheat the soup,add the white sauce and boil for five minutes.
- add salt and sprinkle pepper powder.
- serve hot.
