    Ingredients

  • Small Onions
    - 250 gm
  • Oil
    - 1/2 littre
  • Salt
    - 4 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder
    - 4 teaspoon
  • Mustard powder
    - 1 teaspoon

    Method

  1. Peel the onions and slit each into 4 sections,without breaking them,keeping the base intact.

  3. Place the onions in a glass jar.
  4. Add the remaining masala powder.
  5. Pour the oil,Mix well.
  6. Keep the jar in the sun for six to seven days.
  7. The onions would have absorbed the spices and be ready to serve.
