Roast potato onion curry

    Ingredients

  • potatoes(big)
    - 200 gm
  • onions (big)
    - 3
  • turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon
  • garam masala powder
    - 1 tablespoon
  • chilli powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon
  • oil for frying
    - 3 tablespoon
  • salt
    - to taste

    Method

  1. Peel the skin of potatoes.
  2. cut them uniform small cubes.
  3. wash in water thoroughly(optional:add a pinch of salt in the water) drain.
  4. slice the onions finely.
  5. heat oil,add mustard seeds,when they crckale,add the potato cubes,salt to taste and turmeric powder.
  6. mix well.cook on a slow fire,till the curry becomes crisp.
  7. add the chopped onions,fry.
  8. add the chilli powder.
  9. sprinkle the garam masala powder.
  10. stir till the potatoes become crisp and turn to golden color.
  11. serve with rice,chappatties,puries.
